From snorkeling adventures in a traditional outrigger canoe to discovering lush rainforests on a thrilling ATV excursion, our rich collection of shore excursions allows you to explore French Polynesia and the South Pacific in the manner that appeals to you most—both above and below the waterline as well as on shore.

Here we invite you to explore your options either by port of call or type of activity. Shore excursions are available to pre-book approximately 60 days prior to sailing; diving tours must be booked on board. Guests and their travel advisors can pre-book their excursions by calling our Reservations Department at 1 (800) 848-6172. We look forward to revealing Polynesia to you soon!
Please note that not all shore excursions are available on all sailings. Descriptions and pricing may vary. Shore excursions will not be available for pre-booking until approximately 60 days prior to sailing (except for the Romantic Escapades excursions). Seven days or less prior to embarkation, shore excursions can only be booked onboard. New tours, not previously listed for online sales, may be available onboard without prior notice. Sharks & stingrays encounter

Explore the exquisite beauty and undersea denizens of Bora Bora’s lagoon during this stingray ballet and snorkeling safari aboard a covered snorkeling boat. Depart the pier aboard the snorkeling boat for a cruise by the ancient crater rim of Motu Toopua, then past Motu Tapu. You will then drop anchor on a shallow sandbank to discover the elegant, yet harmless stingrays. Watch in amazement as the rays glide effortlessly around you. If you wish, your guide will even help you get closer. Next, you will continue on for a visit to a pristine coral garden. Upon arrival, you will receive your safety and diving instructions, then have an opportunity to snorkel in depths ranging from 4 to 5 feet. Along the way, admire an abundance of tropical and multi-colored fish, including parrotfish and butterfly fish. At the conclusion of your snorkeling session, you will be transferred back to the pier.

Guests should be comfortable in deep water and wearing snorkeling equipment. Although marine life sightings are frequent, they cannot be guaranteed. This tour is recommended for guests in good physical condition. Guests are encouraged to wear a swimsuit under a cover up, aqua socks or similar, and sunscreen, and bring a hat, sunglasses, and a towel from the ship. Masks, snorkels, and personal buoyancy aid (P.B.A./snorkeling vests) must be brought from the ship.

These modern state of the art ATVs will surprise you with their ease of use and ability to conquer any obstacles and still providing you with an exhilarating and comfortable ride. During this guided tour you will ride along the scenic coastal road of mainland of Bora Bora, but the excitement is found during the off-road drive through the tropical forests and jungle of Bora Bora up and down steep paths and trails leading to the lookout points. The spectacular scenic stops across the lagoon and the neighboring islands of Taha'a, Raiatea and Huahine give you breathtaking views and photo opportunities. The route will be adjusted and tailor-made according to the level and abilities of the participants, and generally 2 or 3 view stops are included (these may be: Anau Canon, Povai Antenna, Povai Bay Bunker and Faanui Valley).

For insurance purposes, each driving participant must present a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age. The minimum age to ride as a passenger on this tour is 8 years old. Maximum weight limit per vehicle is 500 pounds. Protective helmets will be provided, and must be worn throughout the riding portion of this tour. There is no storage compartment; guests are encouraged to keep cameras and personal belongings in a backpack. Please wear comfortable clothes, long pants preferably, closed toe shoes, sunglasses. *This tour is priced per ATV, which can accommodate two average-sized adults.

Get on-board a catamaran and indulge yourself with a breathtaking cruise in the most renowned lagoon of Bora Bora. Thanks to the shallow draft, catamaran will take you to shallow areas, over multiple shades of blues and turquoises of the lagoon. While your crew set up the sails for a magnificent sailing, feel the sea breeze as your eyes discover beauty of the Pearl of the Pacific. As you pass along the lagoon, enjoy the view over Mount Otemanu, Bora Bora's famous mountain and keep an eye open for the underwater life, it is time to jump for a swim. After your swim and snorkeling session you will continue to enjoy the sail back to the pier.

Shark & ray watching by glass bottom boat

Get acquainted with sharks and rays in a unique new way during a glass-bottom boat ride in Bora Bora and a swim with stingrays.
After embarking your glass-bottom boat at the pier, you will depart for a brief cruise. Your guide will then tie the boat to a mooring in about 25 feet of water and try to attract black-tipped sharks. You will observe the dance of these ocean denizens and, if you are lucky, spot some lemon sharks known to frequent the area. Next, you will proceed to a shallower, clear lagoon for a rare opportunity to view graceful stingrays and even swim alongside them.
Following your tour, you will be transferred back to the pier.

Underwater viewing takes place through large glass windows. The roof provides protection from the sun and eliminates glare, enhancing photo and video quality. Swimming is not permitted during the first stop with sharks but is highly recommended with the stingrays. Wear your swimsuit under a cover up, and bring biodegradable sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a towel, mask, and snorkel from the ship. Although shark and stingray sightings frequently occur, they cannot be guaranteed.

Experience Bora Bora's Island exquisite topography from a unique perspective during this picturesque flight seeing tour.
Depart the pier for the brief transfer to the helipad. After boarding your helicopter, you will take off for a 30-minute flight seeing tour over Bora Bora, the Pearl of the Pacific. You will then head towards north and enjoy a bird’s eye view over the famous heart-shaped island, Tupai. Along the way, you can use the headphones to listen to your pilot's commentary as he points out the sights below. Your bird's-eye view of Bora Bora will include spectacular views and photo opportunities of the world's most beautiful lagoon and reefs, along with manta rays and sharks, an adventure some call Heli-snorkeling. You will then circle Mount Otemanu, Bora Bora's highest peak.
After you flight you will get back to the pier.

This tour is subject to cancellation with little or no notice due to operational reasons from the operator. A minimum of four guests per flight is required (Private flights for 2&3 passengers can be arranged at a supplement). The helicopter is air-cooled. Due to safety, weight limitations and balance, the pilot will perform seat assignments. Not suitable for scuba divers after dives. Transfers for two flights may be organized at the same time, in which case a waiting time is to be expected.

Sunset cruise on outrigger canoe

Board your Polynesian outrigger canoe in Vaitape and start your romantic sunset cruise inside the lagoon of Bora Bora, Pearl of Pacific. The captain of the canoe will play ukulele while you enjoy local fresh fruits and Champagne, soft drinks and local beer watching the sun setting.
