From snorkeling adventures in a traditional outrigger canoe to discovering lush rainforests on a thrilling ATV excursion, our rich collection of shore excursions allows you to explore French Polynesia and the South Pacific in the manner that appeals to you most—both above and below the waterline as well as on shore.

Here we invite you to explore your options either by port of call or type of activity. Shore excursions are available to pre-book approximately 60 days prior to sailing; diving tours must be booked on board. Guests and their travel advisors can pre-book their excursions by calling our Reservations Department at 1 (800) 848-6172. We look forward to revealing Polynesia to you soon!
Please note that not all shore excursions are available on all sailings. Descriptions and pricing may vary. Shore excursions will not be available for pre-booking until approximately 60 days prior to sailing (except for the Romantic Escapades excursions). Seven days or less prior to embarkation, shore excursions can only be booked onboard. New tours, not previously listed for online sales, may be available onboard without prior notice. Talihau Beach Swimming
Vava’u, Tonga
Duration: 3h00 Total : $65
From Halaevalu wharf, you will be travelling in non-air-conditioned 'island style' minivans to the beautiful Talihau Beach via the township of Neiafu and through some picturesque little villages. You will have approximately two hours of free time to relax in the sun, swim and snorkel. The beach is part sand and part rocky. A fruit refreshment will be served during the time at the beach.
At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to the pier.
- Bring your snorkelling equipment from the ship, swimsuit, towel and reef/water shoes to wear while swimming as there's coral underfoot. Insect repellent is also recommended.

Botanical Garden & Ene'io Feast
Vava’u, Tonga

This tour not only allows you to explore the botanical wonders but also invites you to experience the authenticity of Polynesian heritage through engaging activities of how live plants are being processed into valued products ranging from; tapa cloths from paper mulberry, coconut milk and craft from coconut tree, the vanilla essence from vanilla, mats from pandanus, and kava drink from kava plants. Marvel at the skilled artistry displayed in tapa cloth designs, products crafted from the versatile coconut tree and the colorful patterns of traditional attire.
Participate in hands-on activities like weaving, coconut husking, or even sip the flavor of kava from traditional coconut cup. Enjoy your fruit plateau, while the mesmerizing performance that showcases the local Tongan’s Unique music and a dazzling display of traditional dances. Feel the energy and spirit of Polynesia. Historical Experience & Vanilla Plantation
Vava’u, Tonga

The vanilla crop is an important source of income for the island of Vava’u. Take an excursion to a vanilla plantation to observe either beans being harvested, beans being dried or flowers being pollinated, depending on the timing of the season. There are also finished, processed vanilla along with a story board on the story of Vanilla and Heilala Vanilla.
From plantation heading to Utulaaina Look Out for a beautiful view the northern side of the island where the 10th Tu’I Tonga recidence. On way back from Utulaaina stop by at Esi o Salote was name after the King III.
After your visit Esi-o-Salote, board the bus heading to Kilikilitefua Wall. On your way back to the ship you had a stop at Pouono (where King George I dedicating Tonga to God). Proceeding to Catholic church St Joseph Cathedral is the largest church in Neiafu photo stop and then to the wharf and Market.
